Family Cookout

My family (full of hunters and farmers) is having a cookout tomorrow. I’m usually lucky if they have a plate of carrots and pickles available.
So I’ve decided to bring some of my own food, but I want to bring enough for other people to try if they’d like to.
Any suggestions for some delicious vegan side-dishes my meat-loving family might enjoy?
I’d also like to keep it clean and homemade – no faux-meats or dairy-replacements.
